  4. Research Offsite

In the middle of nowhere, talking about exec comp. Sounds boring, but the company was great. Just to give you an idea of how my team was, our name was “3P&G”, which means 3 pervs and a gentleman. I probably heard the worst, most crude jokes in those three days… and I laughed my ass off. Also, here are our team nicknames (we had to do it for an activity):

    J-Rock

    C-Dawg

    Mah Man

    Viatch (me)

Oh yeah, we totally won the competition, by the way. EXCEL AND POWERPOINT SKILLS FTMFW.

P.S. Teammates and I are going to get crunk tonight. :P

  5. Le sigh…

Woke up this morning and the first thought that comes to mind is, “I miss singing.”

So what do I do as soon as I get home from work? Pick up my neglected guitar and learn a new song. I had to stop as soon as my roommate came home, but it’s better than nothing. It’s far from my experience with CDL wherein I could sing everyday if I wanted, but it’s better than not singing at all.

I think I miss performing too. I was terrified when I first performed with CDL, but I soon grew to enjoy it. The nerves disappeared and I had a blast every time we went on stage.

Maybe, once my other friend from CDL get settled in, we can join a group and get back to singing and performing again.

    Here’s hoping.

  6. Two Door Cinema Club at the Warfield on Friday!!

I’m still at work and this is all I can think about. I’ve pretty much been rocking out to them all day. PRIVATE DANCE PARTY AT MY DESK.

I really hope they perform “Costume Party” and “Kids”!

    90 minutes before I go home… GAHH

  9. So this is the part when you get scared.

    It’s the fear of losing.

Everything has gone so well that you start thinking that something has to give.

The brain needs to calm down.
